About Quantafuel
Quantafuel AS (OTC-Listing QFAS) was established in 2014 and has its head office at Lysaker in the municipality of Bærum. The company originates from the research and development company (R&D) Waste4Fuel, which was established in Sweden in 2007.
From 2007 until today, the company has bridged the gap from R&D to becoming a technology-driven energy company that develops, designs and operates production facilities for production of high-quality chemicals and synthetic fuel-products based on non-recyclable waste plastics.
Over the past ten years, the company has developed patented technology that transforms mixed plastic waste that today is incinerated, into advanced Recycled Carbon Fuel.
Quantafuel is the proprietary owner of chemical processes and a technology that enables efficient production of synthetic fuel from multiple carbon sources. The technology is a specially developed plastic-to-liquid (PtL) technology. The PtL technology is proprietary to Quantafuel and patented.
The company is currently constructing Europe´s first plastic-to-fuel plant in Skive, Denmark, based on this technology. The plant is an efficient and compact processing plant designed and supplied by Quantafuel that produces low-carbon synthetic fuel and valuable chemicals. Quantafuel is in the process of establishing more PtL facilities globally, with a focus on Europe.
The waste industry in Denmark and Europe is undergoing a major change, where policy decisions driven by environmental considerations change the flow and treatment of waste within the EU and the world.
As a Scandinavian company, Quantafuel's goal is to establish multiple production facilities in Europe, at sites and in countries that adapt the tax incentives and waste policies to benefit environmental goals and form the basis for the introduction of new innovations to combat the growing waste plastic issues at hand.
All in all, we may be a bit bold in Quantafuel. We dare even to say that being bold is what is needed to change the world for the better. A job with us requires that you contribute to smart solutions, have good collaboration skills and can handle a variety of challenges. We like to see our employees grow and we believe that they perform better in a competent and supportive environment. If you want to help us build a better and more sustainable future, you are welcome to join us!
