We are looking for an Interpretation Advisor to be a key part of our team in Oslo. You will be responsible for the interpretation component of production projects, as well as for developing interpretation material from multiclient datasets for sales and marketing purposes. You will be providing on-site consultancy in relation to interpretation assistance to clients as well as contributing to the sales of both proprietary and multi-client projects for the sales team.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
•Drive and focus interpretation projects based on regional geological knowledge, understanding of customer objectives, and how each of these can be related to existing EMGS customer solutions.
•Collaborate with the sales team for MC project development
•Customer Solution responsibility for the project, including product QA in conjunction with the project QA Geophysicist, and leading dataset interpretation, typically in conjunction with the customer - acting as an interpretation facilitator, in customer offices.
•Capable of taking customer solution responsibility in the sales process, both in the pre-sales phase; opportunity identification, qualification, and contracting, and post-project phase; providing "interpretation understanding" assistance.
•Provide local customer training in the application of the EM method
•Contribute to further development of sales and training material related to customer solutions
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Ideally, you have 5 years of experience from an E&P company together with a Master of Science in geology, geophysics or a related topic. You have thorough understanding of geology technology and have not only worked with seismic data. And you are of course a team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
