ABOUT THE JOB:  

Nordic Semiconductor´s R&D capacity is expanding. We are looking to recruit an experienced or a newly educated digital IC designer with basic understanding of analog IC design.  

You will work closely with analog engineers to build control systems within the area of power management.  You will have responsibility for specifying, developing and supporting through to production digital control systems.  We are a young and vibrant team focused on innovation to provide the best possible solutions to our customers. Your contributions will help develop and grow Nordic’s portfolio of products and will directly contribute to the success of the company.   

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: 

  • M.Sc. in  Electronics Engineering or equivalent 
  • Preferably 2 years of directly relevant industrial experience in Digital RTL Design  
  • Skilful in VHDL, Verilog and/or System Verilog 
  • Experience of verification 
  • Able to work well either independently or as part of a team 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Fluent English language skills (written and oral) 

ADVANTAGEOUS KNOWLEDGE:  
  • Synthesis, STA and DFT 
  • Experience with analog-digital co-simulation verification 
  • Basic knowledge of analog IC design terminology 
  • Basic knowledge of of Buck/Boost converters, LDOs or PMICs
