Will you be our new Flow Loop Operator? Responsibilities
- Operate computer control system for calibration and configuration of subsea and topside MPM flow meters
- Test and configure all MPM flow meter software according to internal procedures
- Carry out internal commissioning followed by Factory Acceptance Testing with customers
- Maintain all test facilities weekly and participate in yearly cleaning of oil and water tanks Main tasks
- Mechanically install flow meters into the test facilities using drawings with part numbers- Establish Power and Communication with MPM flow meters
- Perform internal flow testing on MPM meters by measuring oil, water and gas flows
- Perform internal functionality testing of Software and Hardware on MPM meters.- Hyperbaric pressure testing, venturi calibration of meter, measuring gamma counts and conductivity readings
- Brief customers and inspectors about safety in the facility
- Participate in safety rounds and encourage others to adhere to all safety practices
- Troubleshoot and collaborate solutions with other teams
- Maintain test facilities by organizing tools and perform housekeeping tasks Requirements
- Education and/or experience within relevant fields such as process operations, automation, IT, electrical.- Knowledge and experience with Control Systems and Instrumentation will be an asset- Training on MPM flow meter software and procedures will be provided
- Good Computer skills and able to work on the computer for long periods when needed
- Good communication skills in Norwegian and English both oral and written.
- Structured, accurate, independent, proactive and flexible
- HSE focused and service minded- Forklift and Crane certificate will be an asset
