We are now looking for a Senior Instrument and Telecom Designer for the project.
Responsibilities and Tasks
- Perform Instrument and telecom area design and develop relevant area engineering documents
- Design in 3D modelling tool AVEVA E3D and PDMS
- Ensure implementation of statutory requirements, design basis, specifications, standards and corporate requirements
- Design and develop documents for Instrument and telecom cable block diagrams
- Attend 3D discipline review meetings
- Co-ordinate interdisciplinary issues with other disciplines
- Reports to ICT lead (Instrument, Controls and Telecom)
Qualifications and Personal Qualities
- Knowledge and experience of instrumentation and controls
- Knowledge and experience on design and engineering on layout and modelling
- Knowledge and experience on working on E3D
- Work independently with separate tasks to a high degree of accuracy
- Good skills for cooperation within and across teams
- Solid data knowledge and of working tools (list below)
- MS Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook, Skype and related
- Micro Station,
- ProArc (Document database)
- Preferably COMOS (Engineering Database)
- Language Skills: Good written and spoken English, and preferably Norwegian
- Minimum 7 years related experience
