Electrical Engineer

Aker Solutions has recently secured new long-term contracts on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, and the project portfolio in Kristiansund is rapidly expanding. We are now recruiting several new employees to strengthen our teams and prepare for future growth.

Aker Solutions Electrical department based in Kristiansund consists of over 31 highly qualified Electrical engineers. The engineers are involved in a wide variety of projects ranging from smaller Front End Studies to Major Modification Projects and various Specialist Services.

We now have an opening for position as Electrical Engineer in Aker Solutions Kristiansund.

Responsibilities and tasks:

• Design of heat tracing, lighting, HV/LV installations
• Develop jobcards
• Create/update drawings/documents. As-built work

Qualifications & personal attributes:

• Min Bsc. degree within electro is required
• Former experience with electrical design and job cards preferably within the oil business
• Knowledge of programs such as Time, Mips and Microstation is appreciative but not required
• Language Skills: Written and Oral Norwegian and English
