Well Test Operator - Offshore (58313)

Expro Group are currently recruiting for Well Test Operators (offshore) to join their Well Testing & Commisioning operation based in Stavanger. The successful candidate will assist during all phases of the rigging up and rigging down of well test equipment on work locations for the purpose of providing services during the well testing and clean up phase of a well. This is an intermediate, progressing role that requires development of advanced knowledge of operations and equipment. The job develops increasing competencies in well test operations and services and routinely works in more than one type of well site as assigned by the Supervisor.

Key Activities and Accountabilities

• Ensures a safe and healthy environment at the worksite through the effective application of the Company's HSEQ systems.
• To maintain a high standard of housekeeping on the work site
• To ensure that all work performed is undertaken in accordance with the appropriate permits and risk assessment procedures.
• To ensure that all work undertaken is performed in accordance with current and up-to-date procedures
• Performs installing, cleaning, function testing and leak testing of equipment according to pre-job procedures
• Prepares ancillary equipment to be used for the job
• Performs pre/post job equipment inspections
• Performs and completes ongoing and preventative maintenance procedures
• Assembles and prepares equipment for installation and service
• Completes tasks as directed during operations
• Completes tasks as directed in preparation for the next job or rig down/backload
• Ensures completion of all required documentation relating to equipment and personnel in the course of the operations performed.
• Ensure professional and helpful attitude towards all customer representatives and crew.
• Assists in training junior operators with instructions and guidance from supervisor in how to train.
• Follow Expro QMS and ensure that ERL system is used as required
• Ensure that personal appraisal is completed for each job
• Actively use Expro PI card and rig/platform card systems
• Focus in cost control by using, preserving all equipment in safe manner

Job Knowledge and Qualfications

• Formal technical qualification
• Technical experience preferable within welltest field
• Practical work experience within an offshore environment
