We are currently looking for a temporary replacement for one of our wonderful colleagues who is about to go on maternity leave. We are searching for a candidate to fulfil the position as Recruiter & Admin Coordinator, to be a member of the Pilot Recruitment/HR Team, based at HQ located in Lysaker. The position is, as of now, temporary – with the possibility of being permanent.

We imagine that the right candidate for this position has 1-2 years of experience with full life cycle recruitment and administrative tasks. It is an advantage if the candidate has experience in the aviation industry, but it is not a requirement. This position will recruit mainly for flight deck positions worldwide, and be heavily involved in the actual screening and interviewing process.

The recruiter & admin coordinator will work closely with the operational management and the Pilot Recruitment/HR Team, to anticipate and meet the needs and to deliver the best talents in the organization. The position will be required to travel worldwide when needed for different recruitment events. The right person for this position should be social, proactive, structured, responsible, and keen to ensure the effective delivery of aviation personnel on a timely matter, often with a short deadline.

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Administration related to recruitment and assessment centers.
  • Other recruitment or administration related duties as assigned by management & recruitment team.
  • Conduct interviews using reliable personnel selection tools/methods.
  • Screen candidates, resumes and job applications.
  • Take part in assessment centers worldwide when required.
  • Monitor and apply best practices for recruitment of aviation personnel.
  • Reference checks.
  • Attract applicants by placing job advertisements; using newsgroups, social media and job sites.
  • Source candidates by using networking, databases, social media and other channels.
  • Administer and participate in local Job fairs or workshops if needed.
  • Work closely with operational management to maximize effectiveness of recruiting processes.
  • Regular follow up with the respective hiring managers and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment process.
  • Costumer follow up/contact.
  • Develop effective recruiting plans and strategies.
  • Adapt to the customer- and organizational needs, which can lead to changes in the area of responsibility.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in HR/Psychology or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience (at least 1 year) in Recruitment with full-lifecycle recruitment is required.
  • Aviation experience is preferred, but not a requirement.
  • Ability to organize assessment centers and workshops.
  • Familiarity with HR databases and applicant tracking systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.
  • Conscientious, proactive and structured.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a timely manner.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Good verbal and written Norwegian as well as English, as this is the official working language.
