SAP Finance Modules Functional Analyst

Experis is seeking SAP Operations & Logistics Consultants including MM, SRM, RLM, PM, PS, QM and DMS. Module coverage may change over time dependent on team resources.

This role is responsible for providing advice about how the SAP Operations & Logistics modules can be exploited, participating in implementation projects, configuring relevant system settings, assisting and guiding users, and resolving problems on a daily basis.

Assigned roles, responsibilities, procedures and other:

• Have a good understanding of Finance functions in general
• Understand and be fully able to maintain SAP Finance configuration
• Resolve day-to-day issues and problems within the SAP Finance modules
• Think globally and advise local Finance organizations about established global SAP Finance standards and strategies
• Help the Finance organization exploit SAP Finance functionality and advise about / recommend SAP Finance solutions where appropriate
• Participate in SAP Finance enhancement projects
• Coordinate SAP Finance functional integration testing
• Participate in global SAP Finance networks
• Help support SAP Finance globally as part of the follow-the-sun support model
• Assist with support of other SAP modules where possible
• Have a good understanding of integration between Finance modules and other SAP modules
• Work closely with appropriate business partners and business analysts to provide integrated Finance related solutions
• Utilise and promote IT’s work processes and tools to handle Demand Management and Service Desk incidents
• Provide input to the monthly ERP EMEA work plan
• Actively share knowledge with IT colleagues and users

• Customer focused; good business process knowledge
• Ability to see the “big picture” in business process/systems terms
• Problem solving skills, ability to analyze root causes and suggest process/systems improvements
• Excellent communication skills – able to communicate at all levels (oral/written)
• Knowledge about relevant SAP modules and related business processes
• Team player that can work with minimum supervision and lead others effectively
• “Can do” attitude
• Knowledge about ERP system functionality
• Minimum 5 years of experience within IT
