We offer exciting tasks that provide unique opportunities for professional development in one of Norway's largest IT environments. Our IT System engineers/architects play a key role in ensuring that DNB delivers stable solutions for our customers.

The unit responsible for the group's IT infrastructure spans a wide range of technologies and platforms, where core solutions in Mainframe and solutions for user units such as smartphones illustrate the extremes in the area of responsibility. Examples of technologies that we provide include office networks (LAN / Wifi), data center networks, firewalls, remote access, server solutions (VMware, Windows Server, RHEL, Solaris), Citrix solutions, SAN data storage services, database, MQ, PKI, Active Directory, Windows, 7/10, Office365 and more. DNB has many deliveries through public cloud services, and the area of responsibility also includes the infrastructure disciplines against AWS and Azure. We have great ambitions in automation, where cloud technologies such as Azure ARM, AWS CloudFormation and tools like Ansible and VMware vRealize are key.

The Infrastructure unit consists of teams with responsibilities within Core Infrastructure, Database & MQ, Networking & Network Security, End User Computing (EUC) and DevOps Support. We are seeking to strengthen all the teams with experienced engineers/architects who have broad competence and can see the overall perspective across technologies.

Key responsibilities in the roles:

Further development of the infrastructure platforms (OnPrem and cloud) in DNB, with focus on continuous improvement.
Interaction with the DNB teams and partners within the area
Further develop services the users want in an agile delivery method
Interaction with service consumers and other sections and divisions

Primary Competences:

Highly skilled within one or more infrastructure areas (Core infrastructure, EUC, Networking, Database & MQ).
OnPrem and cloud technologies
Very good knowledge of industry standards and best practice within your key competence areas
Documentation - Blueprints, design and operational guides
Scripting and coding experience in PowerShell, Python, Bash, Java, SQL
Infrastructure as code, as well as legacy infrastructure solutions
Automation technologies and frameworks

Experience and background:

Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience within the IT Infrastructure areas operational and design/architecture.
Experience from large and complex IT environments
Experience with cloud delivery models
Experience from multi sourcing environments
Used to work with the mindset security by design
Experienced working in autonomous teams
Experience as a tech lead
Continuous delivery model
Experienced with agile methodology
