KPMG's Corporate Intelligence (CI) unit is looking for an analyst and a senior professional to join our growing practice. We provide our clients with the intelligence and analysis they need to mitigate and manage risks and help them make informed decisions, protect themselves against sanctions exposure, and tackle global compliance, reputational, and political risks.

As a member of the CI team, you will contribute to a broad range of research and analysis projects such as integrity due diligence investigations, asset traces, and geopolitical risk analyses. We provide those services to clients from the private and public sectors, both as stand-alone projects as well as part of larger investigative or advisory projects. The core of our work consists of supporting our clients' intelligence requirements by conducting open-source intelligence (OSINT) collection and analysis as well as discreet enquiries with human sources (HUMINT).

Corporate Intelligence is part of KPMG's Forensic Services unit which, among others, also includes Financial Crime, Forensic Technology, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, Investigations, and Forensic Data Analytics. Forensic Services today consists of more than 50 individuals with experience and expertise in such fields as forensic accounting, digital forensics, private and public sector investigations, audit, and political risk analysis.

For the analyst position, we are especially interested in hearing from prospective candidates who fulfill several of the following criteria:

  • 0-2 years' relevant work experience
  • Fluent English, written and spoken Norwegian/Swedish/Danish in addition preferred but not required
  • Language skills other than English/Norwegian/Swedish/Danish for example Arabic, Russian, Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, a Southeast Asian language
  • Bachelor's degree and Master's degree (required) ideally in economics, finance, international relations, security studies, accounting, business, regional studies, anthropology
  • Experience abroad through internships, semesters abroad, work

For the senior professional role, we are especially interested in hearing from prospective candidates who fulfill several of the following criteria:

  • At least 4 years' relevant, client-facing work experience, ideally from a boutique/consulting firm or a compliance team
  • Established network within the compliance | forensics | investigations field in Norway and/or abroad
  • Fluent English, written and spoken Norwegian/Swedish/Danish in addition preferred but not required, other language skills preferred but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree and Master's degree (required) ideally in economics, finance, international relations, security studies, accounting, business, regional studies, anthropology
  • Experience with anti-bribery & corruption, broader compliance, and international projects
