Material Engineer | Stavanger

Work Task:

Participation in Contractors material selection process to ensure that the selection are in line with project specification.

Review procedures related to handling of material.

Review and oversee manufacturing processes.

Handle Site Quarries and Deviation Requests related to material issues.

Verify fabrication records, welding procedures and final documentation.

Experience:

Material selection, welding, NDT, QA/QC.

Fabrication of structures and piping systems.

Minimum 10 years’ experience within the material technology (preferably in design and manufacturing).

Extensive experience within material selection, fabrication and welding.

Education:

MSc (or Bachelor with relevant experience) in Material Technology.
