Head Energy is looking for several developers, UX/UI designers, data scientist's and data analyst's

We are looking for several consultants who are eager to play a vital part in various digitalization projects in the oil- and gas industry.

Task and responsibilities will be depending on your profile:  

Task & Responsibilities:

• Develop state-of-the-art applications using the latest and greatest technology available 
• Be part of an autonomous cross-functional team that owns a problem and solves it 
• Build what needs to be built to solve your users´ problems 
• Create and contribute to open source software projects 

• Perform advanced statistical analysis using sophisticated technical skills.
• Work on use cases related to machine learning and advanced algorithms, e.g. identifying patterns, understanding written text, advanced predictions, etc.

• Support development of use cases through gathering, processing, interpreting, and visualizing data.
• Testing hypothesis, creating mock-ups, and supporting end-to-end use case development

• The designer will be responsible for solving problems and designing solutions and continously improve in close cooperation with the crew and the users.

Education/Experience (varies depending on role):

• Experience developing applications 
• Experience with writing modern javascript 
• A passion for emerging web technologies 
• Great at working closely with designers and other developers 
• Like solving problems end to end 
• Worked with a modern JS library (React, Vue, Choo, Mithril, Angular etc.) 
• Experience with a state management library (Redux, MobX) 
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform services, Azure, and/or AWS 
• Pragmatic about unit testing, integration testing and E2E testing - Fluent in English, both written and oral

• Relevant B.S, M.Sc. or Ph.D
• Ability to understand and structure complex problems 
• Programming skills within one or several languages, such as Python 
• Strong knowledge and capabilities regarding statistical methods, advanced analytics, machine learning, etc. 

• Ability to extract and link data (e.g. using CDP API) 
• Use customizable visualization tools, e.g. Power BI, Excel, Grafana, etc. to visualize data 
• Ability to work well with customers and act as “translator” between digital technologies and industry subject matter experts

• Experience with a variety of design tools including Sketch, Invision, Adobe Suite, etc. -Knowledge and understanding of basic CSS/HTML/JS is considered a plus 
• Enable the team around you to deliver thoughtfully designed digital products 
• Like solving problems end to end - Enjoy working closely together with others in team

Must be fluent in English, both written and oral, for all positions

Work location: Bergen, Stavanger, Oslo og Trondheim
