iX3 looking for architect

Software products are made available as services both for internal use in the Aker family and for external customers..

Our Information Model is an important part of the Integral Platform. The Information Model is a cloud-based internally developed break-through information model technology, and is running on a Google Cloud platform. It uses standard W3C OWL2 semantic representation to create a common knowledge graph. We are looking for a person who demonstrates expertise and industry experience within in informatics/information science, ontologies, semantic technologies, tools and standards, information management, information architecture, information integration, software and software programming. We are seeking an information architect to take part in our Information Model team to extend the information model capabilities further. You will contribute to develop and maintain our expertise and best practices as we are shaping our Information model services

The successful applicant will be part of a product development team in a growing software house. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and innovative.

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Participate in development of our expanding Information Model with new standards and features
• Support product development teams as a key resource for information modelling and architecture

Qualifications and Personal Qualities

Experience Required:

• 3-5 years experience
• Experience from information modelling work in projects
• Experience from design of Information Architecture
• Modelling of database schemas and UML standards
• Experience ( or Expertise) within semantic technologies & tools
• Experience (or Expertise) in logic and information modelling (working knowledge of OWL and RDF)
• Experience in presentation of complex content (visual or otherwise)
• Good understanding of REST API and Microservice development
