Offshore Supervisor

Expro Group are currently recruiting for an offshore supervisor to join their Drill Stem Testing (DST) operation based in Stavanger. The successful candidate will be required to supervise offshore DST operations including various types of Expro services. whilst maintaining high levels of HSEQ standards during operations

Principal Accountabilities

• Perform load out checks prior to equipment shipment when required.
• To consider the potential for harm to themselves (taking reasonable care to prevent harm to themselves), others or the environment that may be caused by their acts or omissions.
• To work in accordance with information and training provided. Pass on any Safety Alerts or job specific information relating to Welltest operations
• Ensure pressure testing is performed in accordance to Expro, certifying authority and client requirements.
• Ensure that function testing and calibration checks of equipment are performed in accordance with Expro procedures/guidelines.
• Ensure that operating of equipment is performed in accordance with Expro procedures/guidelines, and client requirements.
• Ensure that preventive maintenance is performed in accordance with Expro procedures/guidelines, when required.
• Ensure that all required HSE requirements are met in accordance with Expro procedures before/during/after the job. This will include, but is not limited to, safety meetings, toolbox meetings, risk assessments, work permits, STOP cards, inspection check sheets, etc.
• Create incident reports immediately after the event has occurred, and ensure correctness.
• Participate in pre-job and post-job meetings, i.e. at Expro base or at client office, including possible planning, HAZOP or HAZID.
• Ensure that all DST data is acquired, calculated, and reported in a professional manner, following Expro procedures/guidelines and client requirements.
• Ensure that all crew members, including 3rd party, understand and adhere to the job program, Expro procedures/guidelines, client/site HSE procedures, any other applicable procedure/guideline.
• Liaise/communicate (in a professional manner) with Expro onshore management, client representatives, other service company representatives, 3rd party personnel, and Expro crew members on job programs, operational tasks, HSEQ aspects, and problems encountered.
• Supervise the crew, including 3rd party, in a professional manner, including task allocation, guidance, steer, and motivation, during all timings of the operation. This should also include on the job training, technical competencies, Expro working practices, and procedures.
• Ensure that all equipment is rigged down, packed/stored, and transported in accordance with Expro procedures/guidelines, client requirements, and/or legal requirements.
• Knowledge of applicable Expro maintenance, operational, HSEQ, pressure test, etc procedures and guidelines.
• Capable to operate and fully understand the capabilities of Expro equipment, such as, samples, safety systems, DST string etc. 
• Create and communicate (post) job paperwork, such equipment status reports, performance improvement reports, event assessment reports, job tickets, personnel appraisals, performance indicator forms, etc.
• Prepare and complete Expro QMS required job folder, ensure that all paperwork are completed and signed according to requirements.
• Liaise with onshore management and maintenance supervisor on personnel performance, equipment performance, problems encountered, equipment status, etc.
• Perform rig/site visits, as and when required, and provide comprehensive reports.
• Capable to cover for onshore supervisor in the Expro base.
• To be available for overseas work when required.
• To be available for work at short notice when required.
• To actively participate in, and implement Expro safety campaigns.
