We're looking for Embedded Software Developers in Drammen

We're, on behalf of our customer in Drammen, looking for an experienced Embedded SW Developer. Our customer is an automotive supplier, partner to all automakers worldwide. As a technology company, they proposes innovative products and systems that contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions, the improvement of vehicle performance and to the development of intuitive driving. What does an Embedded SW Developer do?

As member of a small dedicated SW team, you will be responsible for embedded design, development and validation of firmware on our On-Board Charger product line. You will be subject to develop and maintain software in the range from low-level peripheral drivers to application tasks, and everything in between. You will also be involved in the development of engineering validation tools and in offering support to customer and validation teams.

Site is located in Drammen and travelling abroad should be expected during this project. This position is expected to be filled by July/ August 2019.

Your Responsibilities

• Development of Embedded SW, low-level and high level in one of their innovative projects
• Development of project in Matlab/ Simulink and C
• Maintenance of existing projects, when required
• Meet customers’ requirements and expectations of quality and time schedule
• Sustain and support job motivation and satisfaction among the project team members
• Some travelling abroad is part of your role and must be expected

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor/ Master in IT, Software Engineering or Automation (Control Technology)
• Skilled in C/ C++ and some scripting experience in Python/ Perl.
• Personal skills to manage functional organization
• Deep and keen interest in electronics and technology development
• Interested and comfortable when interacting with individuals of different cultural background
• Fluently, oral and written, in Norwegian and English (level B2)
