Introduction to the Job 

At the Digital Services and Innovation Center (DSI) we aim to accelerate TechnipFMC’s digital transformation. We do this by infusing design thinking, agile methodologies and lean principles in our delivery. Through balanced teams (squads), often comprised of Product Manager, Digital Product Designer(s), Software Developer(s) and Data Scientist(s), we unwrap complexity, target real user needs and deliver scalable services. 

Job description 

As a Software Developer, you fulfill an important role within the agile development team, translating human interpretation into functional code – while continuously experimenting with different technology and extreme programming (XP). 

Relevant tasks for the position: 

• Transform user stories into functional code 

• Advise on technical feasibility of design implementation 

• Actively contribute to high quality delivery through pair programming 

• Integrate test driven methodology in your work practices 

• Constantly reiterate based on design, heuristic evaluation, user feedback and testing 

• Ensure that our delivery is visually appealing, intuitive and useful 

The position is based at our Kongsberg offices. reporting operationally to Digital Product Manager and reporting functionally to the Operations Manager. 

You are meant for this job if you 

• Have experience with software development and cloud-native services  

• Are curious of new technology and methodology 

• Have a relevant degree within technology 

• Pay meticulous attention to detail while keeping sight of the larger mission 

• Are familiar with modern development stack, e.g. Kotlin, TypeScript, React, GraphQL, PostgreSQL 

• Take ownership and pride in your delivery
