Product Owner - Viz Pilot

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner for our Viz Pilot products. Viz Pilot is a cross-platform template-based system for journalists to create, manage and deliver high volumes of top quality graphics, video, stills and map content on-air and on-line. As Product Owner for Viz Pilot and Viz Pilot Edge, you will have a strong voice in shaping a product used every day by thousands of broadcast journalists all over the globe.

As Product Owner, you will:

• Drive the development and ensure the backlog is up to date and in sync with current priorities, in collaboration with multiple scrum teams in multiple locations in Europe
• Follow up releases and other deliverables
• Drive the streamlining of data model and architecture in collaboration with architects and development teams
• Ensure that the Pilot products integrate seamlessly into the overall Vizrt platform
• Identify opportunities for new features unlocked by improvements to the technical platform
• Work closely with the Product Manager for Viz Pilot to shape and execute the future of the product

We expect that the person we are looking for will have:

• Experience as a Product Owner or similar role
• A solid technical foundation
• An understanding of the media industry and the needs of broadcasters and journalists
• The ability to understand and discuss the merits and consequences of different architecture and implementation options
• Strong communication skills
• Focus on delivering value to our customers

The position is based in the Vizrt headquarters in Media City Bergen, Norway. Other locations including Vomp, Austria may be discussed. Some travel should be expected.
