Do you want to take a leading role in CoopX as their new Head of Engineering?

To help us on our mission we are hiring an extraordinary individual to become our new Head of Engineering. You’ll be a key resource in how CoopX should build its digital platform and together with the rest of our team you’ll set the tech-stack, working with architecture, implement good devops-processes and a fair amount of coding as well. You’ll also have a lot to say on how we should build one of Norway’s best tech-teams, as well as working alongside resources from some of Norway’s most recognized consultancy firms.

Responsibilities

• Have the overall responsibility for the development of CoopX’s digital platform and it’s products and services from a technical standpoint
• Be responsible for end-to-end suitability of our technology and its roadmap, both short and long-term
• Define how we should set up our cloud microservices architecture
• Take key decisions regarding technology alongside with the rest of our team
• Ensure that our development environment is efficient and supports high-quality standards, implementing good DevOps/DevSecOps and CI/CD processes.
• Coordinating between our partners in terms of deliveries, both short and long-term

We’re looking for someone who has:

• At least 5 years of experience in the industry and a strong track record of leading similar initiatives within tech
• Solid experience with setting up cloud architecture and microservices
• A strong foundation as a developer and good knowledge of tech across the stack, both open and closed source
• Great interpersonal skills and the ability to lead by example
• Experience with and the motivation towards taking a leading role as a project manager

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• BSc, MSc or equivalent within Computer Science or other relevant fields of study
• Fluency in Norwegian or another Scandinavian language is an advantage, but not a demand
• Experience with operating in a Microsoft-oriented stack (C#, .NET, Azure)
• Comfortable with using Docker, Kubernetes or similar tools
