Summary

Drive development and implementation of effective Management of Change (MoC) and Non-conformances (NC) structure and processes. Contribute to develop and set corporate requirements and strategies for our business’ MoCs and non-conformances and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in Aker BP in general and within HSSEQ in particular. Verify adherence to set requirements for MoC and non-conformances.


Main tasks

  • Develop, implement and maintain framework (structure, processes, procedures and tool) for MoC and non-conformances, assess and provide recommendations for improvement of BMS processes, act as focal point for support to processes and tool
  • Perform assurance activities to check that actions from MoCs and/or non-conformance handling are implemented according to intentions, and further verify that actions are working according to intentions.
  • Perform assurance activities across the business to verify company’s adherence to defined processes 
  • Develop training needs and training program for key roles to ensure capability to handle MoC and non-conformances in the business is always available
  • Collate and analyze information from MoC and non-conformances, and subsequently influence responsible parties to develop fact based recommendations to eliminate root causes
  • Build and maintain a network of key individuals for MoC and non-conformance support. Monitor the business’ capability of MoC and non-conformances, track MoC and non-conformance progress, sample and feedback on quality. Contribute to development and coach resources to drive quality
  • Drive stakeholder management agenda for MoC and non-conformances
  • Be subject matter expert and key responsible for implementation and follow-up of new/current regulatory requirements, including NOG recommendations, within area of responsibility.
  • Lead or take part in investigations as relevant.
  • Co-operate with Internal Audit and External Audit in defining framework and contribute to identify events that should be focus for Internal Audit and/or External Audit.
  • Co-operate with External Audit and Investigations to identify synergies and opportunities for sharing of resources.
  • Participate in forums and interact with relevant authorities within MoC and non-conformance, e.g. PSA, NOG, etc.
  • Identify issues of strategic character within MoC and non-conformances

 

Authority

  • Recommend: HSSEQ MoC and Non-conformances structures and processes. MoC and non-conformance capabilities required for the organization.
  • Perform: Status reports on MoC and non-conformance issues. Day to day activities according to business needs within “Main tasks”.
  • Input: Budget for team


HSSEQ
As part of the HSSEQ department contribute to improve HSSEQ in the company, and build a strong HSSEQ culture. 

 

Qualifications

  • Master degree in engineering, a Bachelor degree with relevant practical experience can be considered equivalent with a Master degree
  • 10+ years practical and technical knowledge of the petroleum industry
  • Offshore experience is an advantage
  • Good knowledge in Norwegian rules and regulations.
  • Good understanding of regulatory environment, their roles and authority
  • Good understanding of MoC and non-conformance methodology and processes
  • Good understanding of Management Systems and audits
  • Experience in quality management principles 
  • Experience with risk analyses
  • Experience from similar role with an operator
  • Good communication and team work skills.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English

Mobility
The position is Stavanger-based but demands some travelling to company offices, offshore and other locations.
