Senior Engineer Automation

Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customer we are now looking for a Senior Engineer Automation

Job responsibilities: 

• Overall system design of Electrical automation systems
• Design and test Electrical Control Typicals for Electrical equipment and SAS interface
• Follow-up system design for electrical automation systems for field center
• Designing solutions according to our client's requirements
• Facilitate and participate in automation review and verification activities
• Participate relevant test activities/FAT/UFAT
• Ensure that vendor and engineering information required for progress of the work is identified and
  communicated to the project
• Interface to other disciplines, suppliers, contractors and client
• Perform and complete engineering documents and data registers
• In cooperation with client and contractors ensure efficient and coherent integration and design between offshore platforms

Your qualifications:

• Education Bachelor degree
• Ex course
• FSE course           
• Minimum 8 years’ experience from automation engineering in green field projects located on Norwegian
  Continental Shelf
• Minimum 4 years’ Experience from SAS system design activities, including SCD development of PDCS
• Systems, and responsibilities from green field projects located on Norwegian Continental Shelf.
• Experience with communication protocols, such as Profinet and IEC61850
• Experience and deep knowledge of automation design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK,
  ATEX, PTIL and IEC
• Detail knowledge of technical requirements (TRs)
• Have good communication skills
• Have a cooperative working attitude and acceptance for multicultural team environment
• Ability to work independently as well as in team
• Be systematic and accurate
• Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
• Be proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others
• Fluent Norwegian and English skills - both orally and in writing
