DP Operational Analyst (KM 19-057)

The Advisory services department combine and utilize competence and resources from the whole of Kongsberg Maritime to improve efficiency and safety in a wide variety of complex operations for the maritime and offshore industries.

 Main tasks and responsibilities

• Responsibility for selected projects
• Preparation of proposals and follow-up
• Project management (incl. Customer follow-up)
• Perform, interpret and report from numerical analysis
• Support customer during operations

 Requirements

• Bachelor or Master (or equivalent) preferably with knowledge of Dynamic Positioning
• Experience may compensate for lack of formal education
• Knowledge and experience with numerical simulation software and post-processing software (SIMO/SIMA, OrcaFlex or similar)
• Preferably good knowledge and understanding of DP operations
• Good communication skills in English, both written and oral
• Newly educated candidates may come into consideration
