Senior Engineer Telecommunication

We are looking for a highly motivated, ambitious and hardworking candidate to strengthen our Telecom project team. The candidate must be able to independently perform Telecom design engineering tasks given by the project specification.

Work description:

• Conduct and perform as a Telecom Lead in KM EPC contracts
• Participate in the tender process and bid evaluations
• Design and prepare documentation of telecom system packages during Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC)
• Follow up sub suppliers, factories and deliveries to sites
• Preparing guidelines and specifications for telecom systems within offshore and also general maritime vessels
• Create RFQs and perform technical bid evaluation
• Testing and commissioning

 Competence:

• Bachelor or similar
• Extensive knowledge about different vendors in the market
• Solid experience on Telecom systems within marine and offshore industry is a requirement
• Relevant practical system experience
• International experience
• Good presentation in verbal and written English & German. Scandinavian language skills are an advantage
• IT skills: AutoCAD, Microsoft, Engineering Base and preferably Proarc
• Good knowledge of rules and regulations based on IMO, MODU and DNV requirements
