Control Systems Engineer

Tasks and responsibilities

• Responsible for control system engineering in studies and delivery projects according to national regulations, international codes and standards, project specific standards and certifying authorities
• Participate in, and hold,  project meetings; internally and with suppliers and client
• Interface with other relevant disciplines in system engineering group
• Interact with Supply Chain to manage purchasing process and suppliers
• Participate in interface test activities at key suppliers at location
• Participate in system integration testing at our test facilities at Horsøy
• Dedication to HSE
• Some travelling in Norway and abroad

Job Qualifications

• MSc or BSc in automation, electrical, cybernetics engineering or other relevant degree
• Graduates are welcome to apply
• Good understanding of relevant PLC based control systems, industrial communication protocols and electrohydraulic control systems
• Experience in using administrative systems like PLM (Team Center) and ERP (SAP) is a preference
• Relevant experience from Oil & Gas or other industries
• Responsible and result-oriented with ability to work in multidiscipline teams
• High work-capacity
• Practical solution-minded with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluency in English, oral and written

This position reports to Department Manager Automation and is a permanent staff position based at Bergen.
