We are offering a position as Project Engineer - Relay Protection & Control, Grid Automation Systems at ABB AS, in Oslo. We are a growing organization, with good order intake on the Norwegian market. We need to strengthen our team and are looking for an experienced engineer. You will work closely with the Project Manager, the customer as well as other engineering team disciplines.
In this position, your main task is engineering for Relay Protection & Control including site testing and support. Additional work task can be preparation of electrical schematic diagrams, calculations and documentation for substation’s control and protection systems as well as auxiliary systems. We require: - You have a Bachelor or Master Degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering and at least three years of relevant experience in plant design within the power transmission and distribution area. - Knowledge and experience of IEC61850 and relay protection systems - Experience with electrical schematic drawing tools like E3, elMaster, EPLAN etc are advantageous - Experience with OMICRON for relay testing advantageous - Good written and oral communication skills in at least one of the Scandinavian languages as well as English - You have good knowledge of law and regulations as well as standards for the Norwegian electrical industry and energy supply including substations
