Equinor has multiple office locations in Norway and possible locations for this internship are Stavanger, Bergen, Trondheim (Stjørdal and Rotvoll), Oslo and Harstad. Please indicate your preferred work location during the application process.


Job Description
One-year internship opportunity to work on projects/tasks within petroleum related disciplines and/or within other parts of the Equinor value chain.

Become familiar with Equinor ASA as a company.


Qualifications
• Completed Master’s/ PhD degree within petroleum related studies
• Up to 6 months relevant work experience
• Fluent in English

The selected candidates will get the opportunity to have a paid internship in some of Norway’s leading technical environments, whilst building valuable networks and learning more about our company and the industry.

The target group for the internship are candidates who completed their Master’s/PhD degree in 2017 or 2018. As an intern you will mainly be working on projects related to your field of study, but you may also get opportunities to work in other fields to broaden your knowledge.

The relevant business areas for the subsurface internship are Development and Production Norway (DPN), Exploration (EXP) and Technology, Projects and Drilling (TPD):

DPN is responsible for running all operations on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS) to ensure safe and efficient operations.

The role of EXP is to access, mature and discover new hydrocarbon resources for Equinor through exploring both organic and inorganic activities. EXP covers all geology, geophysics, petrophysics and data science activities.

TPD is responsible for developing and implementing technological solutions globally.
