SENIOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

For a long term assignment we are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer for our customer – a major company within maintenance and modifications.

Work site : Kokstad / Bergen or Hammerfest. Long term assignment.
Bergen is a HUB for our location in Hammerfest. This resource will be working for Hammerfest, but in our office in Bergen. 

 
Job Responsibilities

• Designing and drafting in PDMS
• Checking of structural drawings
• Update structural drawings using Microstation and PixEdit
• Structural design i Cloudworx
• Prepaer workpackages for prefabrication and installation
• Simplified structural calculations
• Coordinate with MC/Commisioning og Installation method

 
 
Required Qualifications

• Bachelor degree with minimum 4 years work experience within structural design
• Have good communication skills in Norwegian (preferabley) and English, both orally and in writing
• Have a cooperative working attitude
• Be systematic and accurate
• Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
• Have the ability to see multiple design – cases (solution oriented)
