Electrical Lead Engineer - Maritime System Solutions (KM 19-038)

We are seeking highly motivated Electrical Engineers, with experience as discipline Lead within maritime/Oil & Gas system solutions and system integrations. The position is central for our projects deliveries and we are looking for a candidate who is interested in working in a hectic and demanding international environment.

Main tasks and responsibility:

• Act as electro lead in projects
• Preparation of electrical philosophies, technical specification, functional description and design documentation according to customer specifications, regulations, standards and class requirements (DNV-GL, ABS, Lloyds, Bureau Veritas etc.)
• Lead of an international project team
• Follow-up of subcontractors in design phase
• Follow-up of subcontractors on yards
• IAT, FAT, planning and execution
• Participate as advisor for Sales, Project Execution, MC and Commissioning
• Be a participant in a group of electro experts

The right candidate is a Bachelor or Master Engineer and has minimum 7 years experience. The preferred background is from project organizations within the maritime/Oil & Gas sector, however experience from other relevant sectors may also be considered.

The position requires excellent electrical system understanding and preferably experience from maritime/Oil&Gas projects involving international customers. In this role, it is important that you have the ability to collaborate across different cultures and manage English fluently verbally and in writing.

In addition to this, it is an advantage if the candidate has reference from working with some of these fields of expertise:

• System design/Single line diagram design
• Power generation (included dual fuel, Hybrid and DC)
• Generator Protection/Control
• AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator)
• Speed Regulator (e.g. Woodward)
• Signal interface (I/O interface) software signals and hard wire signals
• Switchboard
• DC distribution in Advanced Multidrives and Energy Storage Systems
• Transformer, UPS, drives etc.
