With Cognite Data Fusion, forward-thinking companies like Aker BP and Statnett have begun to utilise their data strategically. Now they can find data-driven solutions to reduce inefficiencies, optimise operations, and transform business models.

As a Product Manager in Cognite you will be a standard bearer for the Data Liberation Front, evangelising for our products and working closely with customers to make sure we are meeting their needs. You are expected to engage actively with our current and potential customers to test out new ideas, learn from the testing, and use those insights to develop and refine our products. You will be responsible for the product roadmap, driven by a deep understanding of the customer, our technology, and the ecosystem around us.

Another crucial part of your role will be to ensure that our Customer Success team has the right tools and products to drive digitalisation in the industries we serve. We are a data-driven company, so we track and analyze how our customers interact with our products. An analytical approach is required to turn that data into actionable insights that can drive our product forward.

We are looking for Product Managers that can help us define the future of our technology within one of the following areas:

• Data Science: Develop and enable the tools required to do and manage data science at scale.
• Contextualisation: Drive the development of tools that are used to identify and materialise the links between all the data ingested into Cognite Fusion and enrich that data, transforming it into actionable information. This enables our users and data scientists to access the data they require quickly and answer their questions accurately.
• Edge & Extractors: Drive our strategy and products that liberate industrial data.
• Time Series Database: Drive and guide the development of our proprietary, highly scalable time series database that serves millions of data points every second.
  

We need both junior and senior PMs, with some experience in software development, design, or domain knowledge. Experience in Product Management and/or the above fields is a plus, but not required.

Our Product Management team today is diverse when it comes to gender (50% gender balance) and background, including:

• Experience from different roles such as UX design, Management consulting, Data science consulting, Software development, Project management, Product management and Program management
• Experience from different industries such manufacturing, gaming, oil and gas, media and telecom
• Educations range in specialisation and university, e.g. NTNU, UiO, MIT, INSEAD, Waterloo
• Varying seniority, from interns to 20+ years of experience
  

In our team, we also have interns from MIT, NTNU, and Waterloo, typically with Computer Science degrees.
