Project Manager, ODT AS

Odfjell Drilling Technology is looking for a dedicated and motivated Project Manager to manage multi discipline projects on mobile offshore drilling units and fixed installations for our clients.

All projects are planned and performed in close co-operation with the client, with highest priority on the overall project performance and HSE. There will also be the highest attention on the project efficiency, cost optimization and forecasting.

Tasks:

• Manage preparations and execution of multi discipline projects and studies from concept to completion on our state of the art harsh-environment, ultra deep water drilling rigs and our clients fixed installations
• Contribute to maintain Odfjell Drillings position as frontrunner within class renewals and rig upgrades
• Scope of work definition, estimation and set a basis for a successful project execution process
• Manage projects with focus on scope, time, cost, hse, quality, risk and reliable forecasts
• Communication with involved stakeholders
• Ensure that the projects meet relevant legal framework, regulations and requirements
• Manage project and prioritize resource requirements with the line organization
• Contribute to development/improvement of systems/routines for the departments project execution process
• Risk management in projects
• Secure commercial frame conditions and involvement of supply chain management

Qualifications:

• BSc/MSc degree in Engineering, Project Management or a relevant technical area
• 5-10 years experience within project management
• Good
  technical understanding of drilling facilities, drilling systems and drilling equipment
• Experienced with semi-subs, fixed installations  and drill ships
• Experienced with national legislation, flag stat regulations, class rules and international conventions (e.g DNV, NMD, PSA, SOLAS, MARPOL)
• Knowledge/certification within PMI/Prince2 standards is an advantage
• Familiar with Equinor and Wintershall applications (SAP, STID, Procosys, PIMS, Aveva)
• Familiar with Equinor and Wintershall project framework and technical/LCI requirements
• Fluent Norwegian and English
