Head Energy is glad to offer the following contract position as Senior Software Engineer

Job Description:

• Develop the next generation of robotic control system
• Develop software architecture, requirements, motion control and network
• Concept development of new technology
• Detailed engineering of new products
• Testing and quality improvements
• Documentation

Education/Experience:

• Experienced with software development processes and methods
• Experienced and interested in open standards like Linux, QT, Git & databases
• Proficient with programming in C/C++ and real-time systems with Data Distribution Service
• Experienced with robot kinematics
• Strong within mathematics and physics
• Knowledge within Siemens´s Motion Control System SIMOTION.
• MSc/PhD within Software engineering or similar is preferable
• Minimum 5 years of experience within programming
• Willing to travel internationally

Language:

• Norwegian
• English
