Project Planner

Job Description:

• Estabish project plans for the execution of the work covering schedule, manpower and progress, in accordance with clients standard planning methods.
• Ensure that project plans are updated on a regular basis based on input from the project organization.
• Monitor and analyze progress, schedule, manpower and assists in analyzing cost/margin against baseline plan and current plan.
• Prepare and maintain forecast schedule and initiate corrective actions when this schedule deviates from current plan.
• Prepare reports for the Project Manager including consolidated project schedule and summary updates and S-curves.
• Execute baseline revisions.
• Review and participate in preparation of Variation Order Requests, and implement accepted variation Orders with regards to schedule, manpower and cost plans.

Qualifications:

• Good communication skills – written and verbal
• Excellent verbal and written English.
• Benefit with German knowledge, but not an absolute requirement.
• Understanding of Project Management and Project Control techniques and standards
• Self-driven, proactive team player, cooperative approach.
• Capable of leading internal meetings regarding schedule
• Planning experience. Preferable from Maritime sector.
• Knowledge of Primavera and other high-level planning tools.
• Ownership, initiative, proactive behavior and positive approach (can-do attitude)
• Problem Solver
• Good attention to detail
• Excellent Analysis skills
• Enquiring, Questioning and Inquisitive

Place of work: Torp, Sandefjord or Berne, Germany – The position will require international and domestic travel.
