Senior Engineer - Automation

Design and develop automation systems

  Your responsibilities:

• Design and specify automation systems, solutions and control strategy for engineering projects in concept, study and detail phase                  
• Development and design for local & remote operated installations for Oil and gas and offshore wind platforms                  
• Automation strategy for unmanned operated Oil and Gas topside, High-Voltage substations (HVAC or HVDC) and offshore wind parks                  
• Develop automation philosophies, topologies and system descriptions to the required level according to client requirement                  
• Take part and contribute in digitalization processes help securing improvements in overall solutions Interface towards other disciplines, suppliers and client                  
• Input to study report for automation  
• Seek cost-effective solutions adopted to the relevant applications 

  Education and work experience:

• Bachelor or Master degree within automation, electronics or cybernetics
• 4-10 years of experience in automation engineering for greenfield offshore oil or wind projects  
• Main experience within the automation and / or instrument discipline  
• Experience with conceptual development  
• Experience with normally not manned installations  
• Experience with design towards international requirements  
• Deep knowledge of automation design according to relevant national and international rules, regulations   and different standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, ISO, PTIL, and IEC
