Internal IT engineer

Main responsibilities:

• Manage and support our existing internal IT infrastructure, serving a distributed organization across 10 offices
• Manage IT personnel related to internal IT  
• Create, organize and implement plans for developing a world class internal IT infrastructure 
• Document, manage and review procedures and policies for use of internal IT  
• Acquire and review IT services and infrastructure, andnegotiate and maintain agreements with suppliers 
• Support the office infrastructure in our Bergen Headquarters 

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelors degree – Computer science or similar, preferably with specialization in IT Management/Operations  
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role  
• Hands-on, technical skills needed. Good knowledge of the following areas:  
• General datacenter infrastructure 
• VMware 
• Microsoft Servers (Active Directory, MSSQL)
• Personal computing (Mac, PC and phones) 
• Cloud Services (Office 365, AWS)
• Network and WiFi (Cisco, Dell) 
• Firewall (McAfee StoneSoft) 
• Backup systems (Veeam) 
• Structured and able to manage and coordinate work with other staff, as well as strong troubleshooting skills
• Proven track record of successfully implementing new IT services and policies, and working on both technical and organizational implementations
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluency in English is a requirement 
• Serviceminded attitude with great interest in contributing to the social environment
