Electrical Subsea Power Cable Engineer

Head Energy is glad to offer the following contract position as Electrical Subsea Power Cable Engineer

 

Job Description:

• Handle all relevant engineering matters related to the electrical subsea power cables
• Ensure alignment within the electrical discipline
• Ensure experience transfer to and from the project
• Ensure alignment with Company’s discipline line organisation.
• Ensure integration and coordination with other project disciplines.
• Co-ordinate discipline tasks across contract boarders
• Participate in discipline and multidiscipline reviews
• Identify and contribute to closing of technical uncertainties

Education/Experience:

• Master of Science or Bachelor of Science within electrical power engineering ("elkraft", high voltage)
• Competence within electrical subsea power cable design and installation
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience from offshore project execution
• HSE training in accordance with Company recommendations
• Multi-discipline understanding
• Good knowledge of rules/regulations, standards and preferably Company’s technical requirements
• Ability to work in a team
• High ethical standards and adherence to Company's ethical requirements
• Ability to handle high work loads

Leading Professional/Specialist

• 5+ years experience with managing personnel OR
• Specialist knowledge in relevant field
• AND
• Master degree and 10+ years relevant experience OR
• Bachelor degree and 14+ years relevant experience OR
• 2+ years higher education and 18+ years relevant experience

Language:

• Norwegian
• English
