Product Manufacturing Manager

Job Description:

• Accountable for all work to fulfil contractual obligations within project budgets and schedules related to the respective work package(s).
• Lead the resources allocated to and supporting the work package team.
• Responsible for implementing and administering project and company policies and procedures in order to successfully achieve project objectives.
• Act independently on assigned projects and work tasks.
• Accountable for promoting an HSE and quality mindset as well as commercial awareness.
• Continuously encourage and support team to achieve project objectives.
• Authority on behalf of the System Project Manager to initiate work and/or initiate variation requests to the contract scope of work, related to the respective work package(s).
• Financial Authority as per the project specific project charter and regional guidelines.
• Act as the company’s representative and single point of contact towards customer on sub-system and product matters.

Qualifications:

• Mobilize the project in compliance with the mobilization schedule.
• Establish the project team in cooperation with resource owners.
• Ensure a proper Contract Review. Confirm understanding of and implement all requirements, specifications and clarifications of the Contract.
• Ensure product schedule is established, implemented and maintained.
• Ensure work package budget is established.
• Perform risk management.
• Monitor and control project work and verify scope.
• Manage Project variations and changes.
• Report internally and externally on a regular basis.
• Communicate with Stakeholders.
• Ensure proper close-out and handover of work package.
• Organize project team according to client processes and clarify roles and responsibilities.
• Lead project team including HSE, Quality, Schedule, Risk and Cost.
• Create an environment for motivating the project team through communication, making decisions and delegating
• Able to manage medium projects with low complexity.
• Works with others on the project team to develop technical/functional solutions to achieve strategic project objectives.
• Lead team in resolving difficult technical issues that require extensive knowledge related to technical/functional project field.
• Solves varied, but straightforward problems, analyzing and selecting the most optimal solutions.
• Understands the impact, influence and importance of the Manager role, and how to utilize this to the best of the project.
• Demonstrate compliance with organization standards and expectations.
• Proficient in relevant MS Office applications.
• Learning and developing proficient in scheduling and ERP software.
• Ability to implement product/project execution plans as required by relevant policies and procedures.
• Accurate and pays attention to details.
• Able to meet deadlines and manage priorities.
• Good cooperation and communication skills.
• Good knowledge and demonstration of cultural awareness.
• Ability to work in team-oriented environment.
• Ability to receive constructive feedback and coaching and respond appropriately.
• Prepare and present reports and presentations.

• Lead others in conflict management
• BA/BS degree in related field preferred, or equivalent years of work experience.
• Typically, 8+ years overall experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
