We are increasing our operation and number of vessels and in parallel we are also strengthening our organization, making it more robust and process oriented. We are looking for a new Product Owner digitalization & improvements. The role will have the opportunity to contribute to define best practice for ways of working.

As our new Product Owner Digitalization & Improvements (PO) you will be working continuously on enabling the business to operate efficiently through proper system support, in development of and operationalizing our IT strategy. As our PO you will be on top of trends and technological development. Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Navigate business units in identifying current and future efficiency opportunities and utilizing design thinking and agile methodologies
• Together with business unit stakeholders, design and test to-be work processes
• Take a proactive role in identifying and selecting potential solutions
• Manage system software design/configuration and implementations
• Ensure user training
• Support the business in moving from a project management to a product management philosophy, taking ownership (together with business units) of the products for the life whole cycle
• Assist in identifying the key products in Aker BioMarine and establishing a plan for managing these products

Main qualifications: 

• 3 – 5 years experience from software development, management consulting and/or line organization
• BSc degree or higher in computer science, industrial economics, or technology management
• Excellent project manager skills, knowledge to PM methodologies as Agile Scrum is an advantage
• Experience in doing presentations, arranging and organizing courses and facilitating workshops
• Experience from process industry and/or food/pharma/nutraceutical is an advantage
• Expertise in making IT a business enabler, driving growth and change
• Excellent communication and presentation skills (English and Norwegian)
