Production Engineer, non-operated asset management

On behalf of our client, an international oil-  gas operator, we are looking for a Production Engineer (mid-level, senior) that have both a passion and dedication for non-operated asset management. 

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Provide additional capacity in the company in the area of non-operated asset management.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support company`s “see to duty” with respect to partner operations.
• Represent Company in license technical committee meetings as agreed by the line manager
• Coordinate and follow-up technical license activities with other key disciplines in the Company's organisation, e.g. HSEQ, reservoir engineering, commercial, finance and exploration.
• General monitoring and follow-up of production operations and performance.
• Internal Company production reporting and forecasting.
• Support Company's development projects, business development and exploration activities as required.

QUALIFICATIONS / PROFILE

• Higher education (B.Sc. or higher)
• 10 years relevant work experience in the oil & gas business
• Very good understanding of petroleum and facilities engineering principles
• Solid understanding of oil & gas production operations and production value chain
• Good understanding in several of the following areas is considered a requirement:
  • Process engineering
  • Offshore operations
  • Project management
  • Subsea engineering
  • Well operations
  • HSE and technical safety
  • Production chemistry
  • Flow assurance
  • General subsurface understanding
• Relevant working experience from an operating E&P company is considered an advantage.
• Familiarity with Norwegian rules and regulations

• Fluent in English language (written and spoken) is a requirement
