Reservoir Engineer

On behalf of our client, an international oil-  gas operator, we are looking for a Reservoir Engineer (mid-level, senior) that have a passion and dedication for reservoir engineering. 

PURPOSE OF POSITION

Provide capacity and competence in the area of reservoir engineering.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform reservoir engineering analysis of their portfolio of licenses as agreed with line manager.
• Acquisitions and Due Diligence work. DD assessments will be carried out as and when required.
• Follow-up daily production and perform forecast for own producing fields as agreed with line manager.
• The position holder will provide input to new development concepts with a focus on optimizing reservoir drainage through excellent well placement.
• Provide in-house competence to ensure high-quality evaluations of all projects in the early phase leading up to concept select where our client has ownership.

QUALIFICATIONS / PROFILE

• Masters Degree or equivalent in relevant subjects.
• Very good understanding of reservoir engineering principles
• Very good understanding of development engineering principles
• Experience from an E&P Company is an advantage
• At least 5-10 years of relevant experience
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment

• Fluent in English language (written and spoken).
