We are looking to add an ambitious Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our vibrant and diverse team consisting of 10 engineers as a product responsible engineer.

In order to succeed, you should have the ability to see the bigger interdisciplinary picture and how it relates to the overall company goals.

This role is perfect for someone who likes to immerse themselves in constructional challenges in order to come up with mechanical solutions.

• Take ownership and responsibility for a product portfolio
• Design according to rules/regulations and communicate with classification societies
• Suggest product improvements and development
• Review product cost and product specifications
• Strive for standardization within the product portfolio
• Disseminate and/or create technical product documentation
• Give technical support to Product Manager, Delivery, Sale, DLS organizations
• Take personal responsibility for HSE and work quality

• Relevant Bachelor's degree from college or university
• 3-5 years' of relevant experience within mechanical design
• Good knowledge of 3D modeling (preferable in Creo)
• Knowledge of 2D drawing in AutoCad (mainly GA drawing)
• Knowledge of technical procedures and standards and rules and regulations within the drilling industry
• The ability to read and interpert hydraulic systems and circuit diagrams
• Have a structured focus and LEAN mindset
• Knowledge of risk analysis, FMECA and CE marking is preferable
• Hands on experience with mechanical equipment is preferable
• Good communication and cooperation skills
• Good English and Norwegian language skills, both spoken and written
