We are looking for a Project Lead Test & Service, Programmes

This role coordinates and executes detailed plans as the main interface between R&D/Application and Assembly-/Test-/Paint-/Service- Teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

• Create, maintain and execute detailed plans to deliver the Validation and Service elements of the Product Development Roadmap and Customer Projects.
• Actively maintain Risk and Opportunity registers with clear reports
• Ensure all identified risks are mitigated with supporting plans to an acceptable conclusion
• Ensure the allocated functional elements of the engine programme is delivered in line with the identified budget
• Report progress on all test activities
• Support, schedule and execute testing related to “New Part Qualification” and “Cost Excellence Team Activities”
• Support the After Launch of the new engines: continuously evaluating parts and methods to meet requirements for quality and cost.
• Resolve technical problems; act as technical support for the Competence Centre Assembly, Test and Paint
• Conduct improvement to continuously reduce the standard production cost
• Identify and share best practice; capture and utilize lessons learned within the Competence Centre

QUALIFICATIONS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

• Higher Engineering education (BSc)
• Min. 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably experience within Project Management
• Commercial awareness
• Fluent in  Norwegian (Scandinavian) and English
• Organized and structured working methods
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to work proactively, take lead and execute own tasks, projects and responsibilities
• Able to see the big picture, prioritize and take sound decisions
• Analytical skills and solution orientated
