ReedHycalog is a business group within the Wellbore Technologies segment, and with our eVolve offerings we are focusing on drilling automation & optimization by use of downhole data. Due to increasing demand for our offerings we need additional personnel in our operations group to deliver intelligent, smarter and more cost-efficient solutions to our customers.

Job Summary:

• Maintenance and service of our electro mechanical equipment used for drilling
• Troubleshoot and repair our electro mechanical equipment
• Calibration of sensors that is used to optimize the drilling process
• General workshop tasks
• Cleaning and receiving inspection (mechanical and electrical) of our equipment after usage
• Troubleshooting analysis using problem solving techniques
• Preparation and follow-up of documentation, procedures and reports

Qualifications:

• You should preferably have certificate of apprenticeship in automation or in electronics, experience with electromechanical equipment (minimum 3-5 years).
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• High level of IT understanding and experience.
• Good electronic and mechanical knowledge and experience with soldering is required.
• Understanding of IPC-A-610F and J-STD-001 is a plus.
• Understanding and follow up drawings, wiring diagrams and process specifications is required.
• Fluent Norwegian and English language with good communications skills are necessary.

This position will require some traveling.
