Project Development Discipline Lead Automation

Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customer we are now looking for a Project Development Discipline Lead Automation.

Job responsibilities:

In the next phase DG1 to DG2 there will be a concept selection for both Compression and Electrification. For Automation there is a need to support and follow-up the C study (Onshore compression) and prepare for the Concept Selection planned for before Summer. The project has interfaces with the existing Hammerfest LNG plant (HLNG), experience from HLNG is a plus.

• Handle all relevant engineering matters related to the automation discipline
• Ensure alignment within the automation discipline
• Ensure experience transfer to and from the project
• Ensure alignment with Company’s discipline line organisation
• Ensure integration and coordination with other project disciplines
• Co-ordinate discipline tasks across contract boarders
• Participate in discipline and multidiscipline reviews
• Identify and contribute to closing of technical uncertainties

Your qualifications:

• Master of Science or Bachelor of Science within automation/cybernetics/control engineering
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience from offshore oil&gas project execution, preferably including early phase and concept development
• Good competence and experience within Automation discipline
• HSE training in accordance with Company recommendations
• Multi-discipline understanding
• Good knowledge of rules/regulations, standards and preferably Company’s technical requirements within automation
• Ability to work in a team
• High ethical standards and adherence to Company's ethical requirements
• Ability to handle high work loads

English and Norwegian language oral and written is required.
