Trade Marketing Specialist- Scandinavia

The Global Retail Marketing team at Bose is looking for a temporary re-placement of our Trade Marketing specialist in Norway while she is on maternity leave from May 2019 to February 2020. We are offering an exciting role in our European Trade Marketing group supporting the development and execution of channel marketing activities across our resellers in Scandinavia.

You will be working for the whole Scandinavian region in close collaboration with the Trade Marketing Lead in Denmark, as well as with our Scandinavian Key Account Managers.

You will be an important part of a small Norwegian team that is responsible for the biggest account in Scandinavia with business in all Nordic countries. About 50% of your time will be dedicated to this team and account.

You will report to the Marketing Lead in Denmark. At the same time, you will be a part of our Global Marketing team, and you will work together with colleagues and specialists from all over Europe and the US.

It is crucial that you can work and motivate yourself in a global environment with long distance management. A high level of self-drive is required. The main part of internal communication is emails and Skype meetings.

Primary responsibilities and tasks

  • Execute against aligned regional/local retail marketing plan (for CE, retail stores) to meet investment guidelines, priorities and goals
  • Drive activation of retail marketing plans in key consideration and conversion moments, according to marketing plans for Europe
  • Develop and implement campaigns, concepts and activities in digital media, social media, SEO, etc.
  • Work closely with the Sales team to achieve aligned objectives
  • Manage relationship with wholesale teams to help optimize trade marketing programs
  • Be responsible for developing and execute trade marketing plans and activities, and tracking the activities and budget to successfully run the key partnership
  • Driving marketing discussions on key reseller partnerships
  • Track local trade marketing budgets and monitor activities and report to the Retail Marketing Lead for the region
  • Develop proposals that drive continuous improvement in the business (together with Sales)
  • Identify and set specific KPIs to measure success and effectiveness of retail marketing activities to drive continuous improvement in sell through

Qualification requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related discipline
  • 5-10 years of Retail Marketing / Channel Marketing / Trade Marketing experience or related discipline
  • Experience collaborating with key stakeholders within a Global / European organization, preferably within a matrix organisation
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and social platform required
  • Knowledge about the consumer electronic industry is a plus
  • Native Norwegian speaker, proficient in English
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required

You should preferably live around Oslo/Akershus, and work from home.

Limited travel activities in Nordics/Europe.

Bose Scandinavia

Bose Scandinavia is working as ‘one team’ in the global organization with approx. 60 employees. We have an office in Denmark and an office in Sweden, colleagues from Norway and Finland are working from home. You and the Marketing Lead located in Denmark are supporting whole sale and are responsible for Trade marketing in Scandinavia. We have a local PR agency in all countries.
