Subsea Sensors is headquartered at Bømlo, Norway and provides customer-specific subsea sensing systems and solutions for subsea applications within: Subsea Sensors for pressure/temperature - and differential pressure measurements with its brand WEPS style - and SDP sensors.
Responsibilities
Procurement Manager - Bømlo is responsible for:
- employee- and procurement responsible within Siemens Subsea Sensors
- provide leadership and guidance for direct reports
- developing and implementing procurement strategies
- secure optimal manning, competence and resources measured to fulfil company and customer needs in accordance with Siemens Business Conduct Guidelines and Subsea Procedures
- preparing, conducting and leading negotiations on behalf of the Subsea Sensors
- ensuring on-time supply of materials, goods and services which fulfils our internal and customer quality-, commercial-, legal- and ethical requirements at lowest possible cost
- procurement management in bid, sales and execution phase
- collecting relevant product knowledge and act as an interface between suppliers and engineering
- conducting RfQs, bid comparisons and purchase/contract execution with existing and new suppliers for projects, factory products as well as CAPEX
- KPI-, procurement reports, productivity, focus activities in a transparent manner
- establishing framework agreements for all major and critical suppliers
- driving process-, cost-, quality-, on-time-supply improvements with cross-functional team and suppliers
- driving bundling, leveraging Low Cost Country sourcing opportunities, strategy development, standardization and a strong vision
Qualifications
- 5-10 years experience in purchasing and contract work, as well as procurement management with experience in developing procurement strategies
- Bachelor or Master degree (Economics, Engineering or similar) or relevant experience
- experience from factories and project execution, in the Oil and Gas Industry is an advantage
- strong experience in SAP modules like MM, PP and project execution (purchasing)
- English is the language of business
- autonomous, proactive and resourceful
- good communication-, organizational- and collaboration skills
- strong team lead & -worker, result oriented and good commercial understanding
