Aker Solutions’ Subsea Project Planning team, based in Fornebu, is responsible for proactive time management and forecasting of subsea production system deliverables. The Planning, Change, Risk, Weight and Estimation department is organised under Engineering & Project Management Resources in the Projects Delivery Centre.

We are now looking for a Project Planner to join our team. You will be part of the planning discipline responsible for developing and maintaining high quality project schedules in cooperation with Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Engineering teams located in Norway and around the world.  We provide relevant information to project management teams ensuring quick decision making which is essential to delivering the project on time.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

While reporting to a senior or lead planner, you will be assisting with the following:

• Developing and maintaining high quality schedules in accordance with manufacturing, supply chain and engineering
• Monitoring engineering, procurement and construction activities
• Reporting progress and ensure performance of required planning activities with execution of our tenders and projects
• Developing the project’s WBS in adherence to project coding in Primavera and SAP
• Communicating and flagging areas of concerns, irregularities, criticalities and help developing corrective actions
• Planning, analysing, forecasting and prioritising of execution at all stages

Qualifications and Personal Qualities:

• Recent graduate within Engineering or Business
• Analytical, structured and strong ability to handle complexity
• Positive attitude and a team player
• Interest in project management and project control in the oil & gas industry
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent English
