Do you want to work as a Lead Project Planner in our Subsea Planning team?

Aker Solutions’ Subsea Project Planning team, based in Fornebu, is responsible for proactive time management and forecasting of subsea production system deliverables. The Planning, Change, Risk, Weight and Estimation department is organised under Engineering & Project Management Resources in the Projects Delivery Centre.

We are looking for an experienced Lead Project Planner who will lead and manage the project planning within the project. You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of high quality and reliable schedules enabling successful execution of subsea production projects.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

As part of the project management team, responsibilities and tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Leading and managing the project planning function within the project
• Developing and maintaining high quality schedules that integrate manufacturing, supply chain and engineering
• Reporting progress and ensuring performance of required planning activities with execution of our tenders and projects. Interact with project stakeholders
• Advising the Project Director and providing information, decision basis and schedule analysis
• Actively participating in planning, analysing, forecasting and prioritising of execution at all stages
• Identifying and highlighting irregularities and criticalities and propose corrective actions
• Actively supporting improvement initiatives within project and company
• Securing adherence to Aker Solutions’ project execution model

Qualifications and Personal Qualities:

• Master's degree in Engineering or Business
• Minimum 7 years' experience within project planning
• SAP, Primavera/Safran experience preferred
• Subsea project / product experience required
• Experience working in a multiple discipline environment
• Technology / Commercial understanding and attitude
• Proven experience in similar position from large and complex subsea or topside projects with many stakeholders
• Experience with managing teams
• Analytical, structured and strong ability to handle complexity
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluency in English
