Head Energy is looking for a Senior Technical Safety Engineer

Head Energy is glad to offer the following contract position as Senior Technical Safety Engineer
 

Job Description:

• Be a part of a project team and responsible for all technical safety/prevention loss, working environment and external environment issues.
• Perform necessary technical safety evaluations and give input to design.
• Prepare/update discipline relevant documentation.

Preferred knowledge/skills:

• Familiar with PSA regulations and standard. Experience with database tools, such as IFS, SAP, STID, DISP, PIMS, is an advantage, as is knowledge of company TRs.
• SIL understanding. 
• Process safety from a technical safety point of view
• Read and use TRA/QRA, safety philosophies and an understanding of risk levels and accept criteria
• Knowledge about Explosion loads.
• Simplified calculations of noise and firewater needs.
• Good communication and cooperation skills, must be able to lead others through meetings and reviews.
• Good Norwegian and English skills, spoken and written. 
• Take responsibility and be a decision maker in a busy lifestyle. 
• Have the ability to work independently and in a team, to be proactive and focused on safety and project goals. Concerned with multidiscipline project challenges.

Education/Experience:

• Formal higher education degree in engineering is required.
• Experience from maintenance and modification project in Oil and Gas industry is essential.

Language:

• Norwegian
• English
