MARKETING AND RELATIONS OFFICER

General Description:

FARA is looking for an energetic Marketing and Relations officer. Our Marketing and Relations officer will be challenged with building our company image towards customers and other market stakeholders, arrange and manage relevant events and support the FARA marketing team to grow our business worldwide.

Responsibility and Authority:

The Marketing and Relations officer is responsible to initiate, manage and support FARA marketing activities. The Marketing and Relations officer will take initiative where possible to support FARA Marketing efforts and will be a friendly and approachable contact point in FARA.

The Marketing and Relations officer reports to VP Business Development.

Functions and Activities:

• Operate, maintain and develop FARA communication channels, incl. FARA Website and social media
• Lead FARA participation in conferences
• Maintain and develop FARA Marketing materials and tools
• Lead and manage external marketing service providers
• Support targeted marketing and tender efforts
• Work within FARA to build the FARA brand and message

The position will require occasional travels abroad

Job requirements

• Good communication skills
• Sociable and approachable character
• Experience:
          - Experience in the IT industry
          - Organizational capacity
          - Marketing/Sales experience is a benefit
• Language: Fluent in Norwgian and English. Other languages a benefit
• Will require good knowledge and understanding of FARA products and solution
