Are you the Continuous Improvement Specialist we are looking for?

Quality and Continuous Improvements Norway East department is responsible for quality activities for i) Products organization (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) based in Tranby & Moss and ii) Greenfield Projects (Subsea and Topside) in Norway.

We are now looking for a talented and motivated Continuous Improvement Specialist with strong analytical skills and proven experience with delivering results in improvement projects who can strengthen our team

Responsibilities and Tasks 

• Develop and drive effective deployment of  Continuous Improvement (CI) culture in Products Norway
• CI methodology expertise, coaching, competence development of department
• Develop detailed CI plan for assigned department(s)
• Support complex improvement programs within areas of expertise
• Active participant in the EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) CI network for Products Norway
• Act as a key member of the Quality and CI Products and Projects Norway East Department

Qualifications and Personal Qualities 

• Bachelor`s or Master`s degree
• Minimum Black Belt certified or equivalent
• 5-10+ years of relevant experience preferably from oil & gas or automotive industry
• Good understanding of project management, execution and supplier management processes
• Good knowledge of Lean/CI methods and tools
• Good knowledge of Aker Solutions Operating System is an advantage
• Excellent communication skills in English both orally and in writing
• Strong visualization and presentation skills
• Excellent influencing and change management skills
